# SheetSentry > SheetSentry is an automation result checker. It watches the Google Sheet that an automation (n8n, Zapier, Make, or custom scripts) fills, and alerts you when rows are missing, empty, or late. Status: pre-launch, waitlist open. "SheetSentry" is a working name. Website: https://sheetsentry.app/ ## The problem Automations can report "success" for days while writing zero rows (expired token, empty upstream response, renamed column). Heartbeat monitors only prove a job ran; SheetSentry checks what actually landed in the destination sheet. ## How it works 1. Start the 30-day free trial (one monitor, no credit card). 2. Connect your Google Sheet privately (Google Picker, drive.file permission: it covers only the spreadsheet you pick; Google's permission would technically allow changes to that file, but SheetSentry's software only reads it and never edits it) and pick one tab. Alternative: paste a published CSV link (File → Share → Publish to web → CSV). 3. Choose the timestamp column, the columns that must be filled, the daily deadline, and quiet days. 4. Get email alerts when rows are missing, late, or have empty required fields (checked every 15 minutes), and a recovery email when it is fixed. 5. Upgrade when you need more monitors or the trial ends. ## Pricing (monthly, USD) Try SheetSentry free for 30 days. Monitor one spreadsheet tab. No credit card required. - Free trial: $0 for 30 days, 1 monitor (the 30 days start when you confirm your monitor from the setup email). After 30 days the monitor pauses (no checks, no alerts) unless you upgrade. Paused trial data is kept for 60 days after the trial ends, then deleted (warning emails 30, 7 and 1 day before); upgrading before then keeps it, and you can delete it earlier from the manage link. SheetSentry never changes or deletes your spreadsheet. - Starter: $29/month for 5 monitors - Business: $79/month for 15 monitors - Agency: $199/month for 50 monitors One monitor watches one spreadsheet tab. Every plan has the same monitoring features. The free trial and paid plans open soon; join the waitlist at https://sheetsentry.app/#waitlist to be notified ## FAQ - What data can you access? With the private Google Sheets connection, only the spreadsheet you pick (Google's drive.file permission; it would technically allow changes to that file, SheetSentry only reads it), read every 15 minutes. With a published CSV link, only that CSV; a published CSV link can be read by anyone who has it. - Will you ever edit my sheet? No. SheetSentry never edits, adds, or deletes anything in your sheet. - What about days with no data on purpose? You can mark quiet days (weekends, holidays) as allowed so they don't trigger alerts. - Which tools does it work with? Any tool that writes to Google Sheets: n8n, Zapier, Make, custom scripts.
