With the recommended private Google Sheets connection, SheetSentry asks Google for the drive.file permission. It covers only the files you pick in the Google Picker, nothing else in your Drive. Google's permission would technically let an app view and change the files you pick (Google offers no read-only version for single files), but SheetSentry's software only reads the spreadsheet you pick, every 15 minutes, and never edits, adds or deletes anything in it. Nothing needs to be published, and you can remove access at any time with Disconnect Google or in your Google account settings. With the optional published CSV link, only the CSV of the tab you publish to the web; note that a published CSV link can be read by anyone who has it.

The 30 days start when you confirm your monitor from the setup email. After 30 days your monitor pauses: no checks and no alerts. We email you 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends. Paused trial data (monitor settings and check history) is kept for 60 days after the trial ends: choose a paid plan in that time to resume checks with the same settings and history. Without a paid plan it is then deleted; we email you 30, 7 and 1 day before the deletion. If you subscribe after the deletion, you start fresh. You can also delete all your data at any time from your manage link. We never change or delete your spreadsheet itself.
